The 49th Four Peaks Oktoberfest is located within Tempe Beach Park, 80 W Rio Salado Parkway. The main entrance is at the northwest corner of Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway. In addition, there are two lakeside entrances for pre-sale or re-entry only (Friday & Saturday), one under the Mill Avenue bridges with the second located under the light rail bridge.
Normal downtown Tempe traffic will be influenced by:
- The normal attraction of Mill Avenue
- Four Peaks Oktoberfest @ Tempe Town Lake
- Saturday evening ASU vs. Washington football game @ Sun Devil Stadium – 7:30 PM kickoff…GoDevils!!!
- Plan your route
- Avoid downtown Tempe
- Travel west of Tempe and enter Tempe from the West
- Find Parking west of Mill Avenue
- Find your closest Light Rail “Park & Ride” Station
Planning ahead will make your Four Peaks Oktoberfest arrival both easier and quicker.

The most hassle-free way to get to the Four Peaks Oktoberfest is Metro Light Rail. Light Rail provides free parking lots so you can ride the train directly to the 3rd & Mill Station – within one block of the Oktoberfest entrance.
Tempe Transportation Center
Avoid parking by taking the bus and arrive just 4 blocks from the Four Peaks Oktoberfest entrance.
Tempe Orbit Bus
Live in Tempe? Check out the Orbit Bus system. It’s free, convenient and will arrive at the Tempe Transportation Center just 4 blocks from the Oktoberfest entrance.
The Tempe Streetcar travels on Mill and Ash avenues from Rio Salado Parkway and Marina Heights to Dorsey Lane and Apache Boulevard with a streetcar stop right in front of our event on Rio Salado Parkway. Service is free for the first year!
Parking options abound in and around Downtown Tempe.
Note: Parking is not allowed in the Tempe Center for the Arts surface lot west of the venue.
Note: There is a new public parking garage west of Tempe Center for the Arts with a quarter mile lakeside walk to the Oktoberfest entrance.
Free, onsite bicycle valet parking managed by Tempe Bicycle Action Group. The fenced facility is located just west of the park’s main Mill and Rio Salado Parkway entrance.
Note that bikes, scooters and electric scooters are not allowed in the park, but you can ride them to our gate and park with T.B.A.G.!
